Description

Limoncello liqueur is obtained by mixing alcohol with an infusion of lemon peels and sugar. Delicate, soft and rich it is a pleasure to have it at room temperature or ice-cold to enjoy it to its fullest.

History

Limoncello is one of the typical Made in Italy products. The increasing demand for this type of spirit made Zanin begin the liqueur production in the 1980s. To keep its original features Zanin relies on the advice of the elderly ladies who, at the time,   it. Still, to date, it is made by following those ancient recipes, selecting the best lemons that our peninsula can give.

Production method

To produce Limoncello Golmar, lemon peels are macerated in alcohol for around 20 days, then to the lemon paste previously obtained and sugar syrup is added. After mixing all ingredients, it is refined in stainless steel tanks, then filtered at room temperature and finally bottled.

Rifinement

Golmar’s Limoncello, before being bottled, matures from 15 to 20 days in stainless steel tanks. During this period the mixture of this precious liqueur evolves.

How to serve it

Can be served at room temperature, with ice or ice-cold. 

Accompaniments

Zanin Limoncello is used as an after-meal digestif or as an ingredient in the preparation of sorbets, ice creams or cakes.
