History

When Zanin 1895 began with the production of grappa. The considerable supply of raw materials available in the Veneto region has allowed, since the beginning, the selection of the most suitable pomace to produce this noble distillate. Even today it is one of the best-selling products, its success is given by its peculiarities: quality, authenticity and respect for tradition.

Production Method

The mixture of selected marcs, resulting from the vinification of white and red grapes, is fermented and distilled with copper stills. The dilution with water is followed by a  refinement stage which engages the aromatic re-composition before bottling.

How to serve it

We suggest to serve it neat, in a narrow-neck glass at a temperature of 12-15° C., leaving it to breathe for about 1 minute after pouring, before the first sip.

Accompaniments

Traditionally used in coffee, a dash called Correzione, it is now also used in confectionery to flavour cakes and biscuits, as an ice-cream topping or to give a kick to classic cocktails.
