Wine distillates have always existed since producers, mainly those of modest and artisanal dimensions distilled the wine they produced to obtain alcohol. However, this product wasn’t valued until the late 1970s early 1980s when different types of wine available in the territory were selected and distilled.
The main ingredient is the wort obtained from pressing red and white grapes. Once fermented and turned into wine, it is skillfully distilled in copper stills. The brandy obtained will spend at least 10 years in oak barrels before being diluted and bottled.
