History
The distillate of wine has always existed, especially because artisans used to distil the wine they produced in order to obtain spirits. However, it was not a product of great value until the late 1970s- early 80s, when a selection of the various wines available in the area began to be distilled.

Production method
The main ingredient is the must obtained from pressing white grapes. Once fermented and turned into wine, it is skillfully distilled in copper stills, The brandy obtained will spend at least one year in oak barrels before being diluted and bottled.

Refinement
Athos Brandy before being bottled is aged for at least 1 year in oak barrels.
